- About Us
Mob Armor smartphone and tablet products take an innovative approach to securing your mobile device into your UTV, daily driver, or race truck. Our product line started with the Mob Mount as a product of necessity. Not one product in the smartphone industry was up to our standards or needs so we created something new. The brand has grown to over 150 different products and we are now in our 3rd year of operation. With our roots in the off-road industry, our products are designed to perform when the pavement ends. Not only are Mob Armor products built for off-road use, they are designed by off- roaders who are involved in the industry and know what fellow off-roaders need in a device mount. Mob Armor products are built to last by using metal components, robust design, and an obsession for quality. Pair our phone or tablet systems with recent advancements in smartphone/tablet capabilities, and the possibilities are nearly endless for what your device can do for you.
We have been to several different events over the last year. Below are some of the large events that we have been a part of.
Baja 1000 2015
We had the pleasure of having one of our Elite GPS systems in truck number 25 in the Baja 1000. It was awesome to be a part of such an amazing race. The Baja 1000 is an ultimate test for any off-road hardware and we are proud to say that our hardware survived this race. We are excited for the future of tablet GPS use in the future and we are also excited to be in even more vehicles next year.
SEMA 2015 was a great experience and we are very happy that we could be in attendance. It was overwhelming as there were over 125,000 attendees at this event. We were happy to meet up with RideController and display our Dash X tablet case with their vehicle controlling software. We also had product in three different vehilces built by 3P Off-Road
Moto 7: The Movie Premiere
The Moto 7: The Movie premiere was a great time. The riders from the movie all got up and spoke about the amazing dirt biking experience that they had while shooting the film. There have been many different dirt biking movies made, but Moto 7 was mind blowing. We are pretty sure that anyone who sees that film who doens't dirt bike will join this epic sport.
Pamona Off-Road Show
This was really a crazy event. There were over 60,000 people in attendance, the most there have ever been at this event. Alongside the hundreds of vehicles and companies at the expo, there were also many events including truck drifting and Rubicon rock crawling. There were also some of the top racers there: Ivan "Ironman" Stewart, Ryan Beat, BJ Baldwin, Casey Currie and many more. This was definitely an event to remember and we are excited for this event in the future.
The Cycle Gear Moto Bash at the Cycle Gear HQ in Sacramento, CA was a great event. We got to bring our 40ft tent and display our products on some pretty awesome bikes. At the ec
Freedom 250 Off-Road Race
We got the pleasure of being a part of the AllCo Race Team with a race series bundle for GPS navigation. We are proud to say that the bundle performed flawlessly. We ended up placing 2nd in our devision. This was a really badass race and we are excited to see what comes of it in the future.
Ventura Off-Road Show
The Ventura Off-Road Show was a great event. Lots of great peole and awesome vehicles. We were a part of the event with our 40ft tent and the truck that ran the Freedom 250. It was good to see all of the people in attendance and promote the Mob Armor brand.
This was an awesome event with several thousand people in attendance. There were two main days to this event: contingancy and the race itself. The contingency consisted of dozens of vendors and people watching and helping as the racers push their vehicles down Fremont Ave in Los Vegas. It was pretty spectacular to be a vendor there with some of our product being in the race. The next day consisted of the race. The Mint 400 race has been going on for many years and is one of the most extreme races out there. Some of the vehicles in this race are built to go 130mph+ over rugged terrain. The Mint 400 off-road race is not for the faint of heart.
King of the Hammers
The King of the Hammers event was one of the more intense events that we have ever attended. At this event there is everything from rock crawling, 100+ mph desert driving and everything in between. This is one of the most rugged events out there and we were stoked to be there. We hope that this event can continue being one of the most badass races out there.
Huckfest was a pretty awesome event for the central coast off-road scene. While this is not a race it is definitely an impressive competition. There is something great about race teams competing to see who can jump the highest and the furthest off a dune. Alongside the competition there are thousands of people out on the dunes riding in trucks, dirt bikes and every sand vehicle imaginable having a good time. We go the opportunity to have our forty foot tent at the event front and center. This was a good event to attend and it helped put Mob Armor on the map.
